Stop Girl Gif

Stop Girl

Stop girl

I'll have to provide a visual description of this gif: This is an animated gif of a girl with a red bow in her hair sitting in the stands. She seems to be an Arizona fan at an American Football game (IOWA vs ARIZONA). The camera is fixated on her, and the blank expression she has turns into a smile before she shouts "Stop" at the camera. Other's have named her "Stop Girl".

  2. i don't see a 'p' formed, i get the impression she is just saying

    NOOOOooooooo....

  3. She's saying "No!" not "stop". It's impossible to say stop without touching your lips together at the end to make the P sound, so she cannot be saying stop.

  4. My life mission is to "accidentally" slip it into her back door and get the same reaction.

  5. She is not saying Stop ... because when you make the P sound your lips come together.

  6. For all you "detectives" saying she isn't saying stop, try to say "No" using her mouth movements. It comes out as "NAAAAA", because there's a difference between the two "O" sounds. "No" is close-mouthed, "stop" is open-mouthed like her in the gif. Since she has an Arizona accent, she probably just said something like "Sto!" without emphasizing the O.

Now goodbye, because this discussion is too fucking pointless.

    1. This no "p" crap is redic. Just watch someone say stop, and then watch them say no. No further argument needed but... what the hell. If you say stop while genuinely smiling, you will form the p against your teeth as it is hard to smile and close your lips simultaneously. Duh. She's saying stop and not pronouncing the p. The flawed logic in the counter argument irritates me to no end for some reason! Lol! Why did I write all this!?

    3. What, exactly, is an "Arizona accent" Having lived here since 2000 I can't say anyone has ever referred to me having an accent when I'm out of state. Nor did I notice anything outside of some standard change in sayings and obviously the prevalence of spanish speakers. But everyone who speaks English out here (except for the cowboys, and they're not as big a part of AZ as you might think) just has what one might consider a standard American accent.
